There are sort of budding pockets of classiness in music (Professor Elemental and Mr. B the Gentleman Rhymer spring instantly to mind) and people who are generally into things like suits, fine wines, and museum trips, but I don’t think they usually cross into the Lolita subculture as a whole.
(2/2) For example, though you could probably wear Lolita to a wine tasting, I doubt you’d find others there with the same interests in the style (though I could be wrong). The more Victorian/steampunk you go, the more you’re probably going to get lumped into the “goth” or heading. But it is about time we start an elegant revolution…

calantheandthenightingale asked: In response to fiammettarey's question: the closest thing I can think of would be the quaintrelle lifestyle, since it encompasses multiple fashion subcultures ('50s revival, neo-Victorianism, lolita, etc.); as a culture, it shares the same philosophy as dandyism, except that philosophy is developed within a strictly feminine sphere/style. And, while I agree there's crossover with these groups, I don't think they're as unified as the different aesthetic styles/subsets of the Goth community.
